- The room was very large and I was lucky enough to have a private pool. The grounds are lush and the resort well kept. The beach is lovely with a good view. The spa is amazing with treatment rooms over the sea and the treatments I had were fabulous! The wave bar is lovely for a cocktail at night whilst listening to the sounds of the sea. The staff were so attentive, friendly and very polite. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend.
- Best hotel to stay with kids, amusement park Vinwonders, many activity for kids, easy good food, helpful well trained staff . We enjoyed our stay !
- Very nice room and hotel in general. Reception staff is good, very welcoming and helpful
Cons -
- The pools aren't heated and it takes a bit of time to travel to and from the mainland.
- I think all was wonderful, but for me was lack of dishes selection in a la carte menu .
- The service of foods and drinks are very slow, you can wait for an hour for the waiter to come and another hour to bring you your drink.

The service of foods and drinks are very slow, you can wait for an hour for the waiter to come and another hour to bring you your drink.
I think the hotel does not have a good manager, the owner should have given it to a professional company rather then running it in house. That is why the level of service is so poor. Clearly, the 9.2 rating in booking.com is overestimated, I wonder why. With such rating you would expect a higher level of service, quality of food to be excellent, facilities if not new but well kept. That is not about Vinpearl Luxury. In addition, the knowledge of English among staff was the lowest among 3 other five star hotels I have visited in Nha Trang. I also spoke to other guests, such dissatisfaction is common, people opt to travel across the bay to city to have food rather their paying 950k for a really poor dinner. I had the most expensive steak for lunch the other day, the meat was terrible. Today my experience at the pool was also terrible. First the waiter did not come for like 20 minutes on my calls via bell attached to umbrellas. Second, he took order of food and drinks he did not bring none for over an hour. When I called him and complained he said food is not ready. I said why he did not bring drinks yet then?! Around 15 min later he brought our food order but it was already cold! And the taste was very average, not a five star level at all, rather 3 star level food. So, Another waiter came with a bill and we complained about cold food, the waiter said she can microwave it for us. No excuses. Terrible experience we paid a fortune for.
Overall, max rating should be 8.0. Good for 1-2 days for those coming to VinWonders Paek, as it really close. But one week vacation - would turn into a disaster.
Everything was great. It was one short stay night but very memorable. I really liked the bar on the beach
Something heavy was constantly falling near the pool and it was uncomfortable to swim there. I was afraid that some object would fall on my head
The Vila was wonderful - spacious and very clean. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like evening turndown service and daily pool cleaning at the villa. Small gestures like the evening treat left in the room were lovely. Housekeeping came twice a day, which was excellent. Front desk managers were especially friendly and attentive - they also supervised breakfast service and pool areas. Big compliments to the reception team!Breakfast & Food:The cheese served was fresh, but often sliced too early, leaving a slight fridge aftertaste. The same applies to some fruits. It would be ideal to cut them fresh before serving, especially since most are local and abundant in markets nearby. Surprisingly, avocado was missing - which was disappointing for a resort of this level. The fruit selection was minimal, especially considering the rich local variety available.Despite some serious downsides, we enjoyed the calm and quiet atmosphere, the cleanliness, and the kindness of the staff. We’re grateful for their efforts and the peaceful environment, but there’s definitely room for improvement, especially in terms of quality, service, and entertainment.
Beach Bar Experience:The beach bar was a major disappointment. We waited 45 minutes for three cocktails and one orange juice. Not a single drink had any alcohol - even the Aperol Spritz didn’t taste of Prosecco or have any fizz. Ice had melted, and the drinks were just sad. When we returned the drinks, no one even asked why- they just asked us to sign the bill. It was a spoiled experience.Pool & Recreation:Pool cleaning was done in the middle of the day, which was noisy and disruptive - especially during nap time. This should be scheduled for evening or early morning. Lifeguards were overly strict - no walking on the pool edge, no swimming with kids without floaties, no crossing buoy lines, and even kids couldn’t sit on their chairs. They acted more like guards than safety staff. There was no animation or entertainment - just some balls to borrow. For a resort with such prices, this was a huge letdown. You could rent an entire villa elsewhere with much more to offer for kids.Transportation & Location:The resort’s internal transport (golf carts/tuk-tuks) was unreliable. After arriving by speedboat or cable car, we had to wait a very long time for a ride. It’s best not to leave the resort, but if you don’t - you’ll miss out on the fantastic dining options in Nha Trang.
Unreal! We had the most magical and wonderful stay here. The pool is enormous and the facilities are great. The room is luxurious and the staff are friendly and welcoming, polite and lovely. They really made our stay, so a big thank you to all the people who helped at breakfast, drove the buggies, organised our trips!! Amazing! Recommend so highly and would love to come back!
The room
The staff. Not attentive, drinks and food orders were consistently incorrect. Hotel was not busy, so there was plenty of staff. Check in was painful and to top it off when we left the island our luggage was left on the pier whilst everyone else’s was transported to the lobby for pick up. We had to go back into the pier and collect our own luggage.
Beautiful rooms, great pool,QuietGreat breakfast and friendly staff
The bed was quite hard!Maybe needs a topper
The location was fantastic, with the hotel's own shuttles, the cable car or the boat you are on the mainland in no time. You can reach the harbor, where there are numerous restaurants and stores, by shuttle and then by escalator in 5 minutes.Vin wonder can be reached in 2 minutes by shuttle. The breakfast is excellent. A large selection for every taste. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly. Even with the smallest problem we were helped immediately.Jun in particular, our personal guest advisor, was always there for us, even when he wasn't on duty he responded promptly to our questions via whatsapp. But the ladies at reception also helped us in all matters. The terrace with private pool, which is also covered, is very nice in the hotel. That was a big plus on the few rainy days. The room is very large and comfortable. There are hardly any people at the public pools and the beach. We thought that was great, it was very quiet and relaxing. We can definitely recommend this hotel
The price-performance ratio in the restaurant is not justified. It is very expensive compared to the restaurants at the harbor or on the mainland.3 small things that we have already mentioned at the hotel:1. there are no small tables by the sun loungers2. there are no showers at the pools. These are only on the beach3. it would be nice if the upper small pool was designated as a quiet pool with a sign and the lower large pool, where there is also a lot of swimming equipment for children, as an activity pool
I must say it exceeded all my expectations! The breakfast was absolutely divine - a delicious spread. The grounds were immaculately maintained, with beautifully manicured gardens and a tranquil atmosphere that was perfect for relaxation. And let's not forget the beach - it was spacious and unspoiled, with crystal-clear waters that lapped gently against the shore. My room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed to feel right at home. Overall, I had an unforgettable stay and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.
I'd recommend adding more buggies to reduce the wait time for transfers, and also consider installing heated pool water as it would be a plus. Water in the pool is cold.
Location was stunning; room was spacious and immaculately clean; wifi worked perfectly; breakfast was particularly good offering a wide range of options to meet dietary needs (including vegans); staff were helpful and friendly. Transport around the resort is easy and transport to the mainland by speedboat and/or cable car is frequent and easily accessible. I thought long and hard about an ocean view villa and ended up going with the cheaper garden view. We were not disappointed at all. In fact, there were advantages to the garden view villa i.e. quieter and more privacy - there's a walking path to the pool/beach that goes past the ocean view rooms and so people can see in if the lights are on and curtains are open.
There were a few things that puzzled us, but these were minor and didn't really affect our stay...The check-in process involved lots of waiting around. We checked-in on the mainland, then got a speedboat to the island, then a buggy to the resort, then checked-in again only to be sent away for 2-3 hours until our room was ready. The on-site restaurant for dinner is a seafood restaurant so not good for vegans. There was another on-site restaurant but we couldn't find a menu or opening hours. There were a few communication issues e.g. we were told at check-in we could use our room credit towards room service (which had vegan options), but when we tried to do this on our last night we were told we couldn't (I note this was resolved and the duty manager apologised profusely). The resort has a strict policy on bringing in food from outside (attracting a US$50 fine); but we couldn't get a sensible answer about what this meant or how it was enforced - we were initially told packaged food from convenience stores was OK but on one occasion we had water bottles confiscated at the cable car terminal and on another our bags were searched for food but our water bottles were allowed. Our only other issue was with finding out information about facilities on the island - we asked if there was a map of the island and were told there wasn't. We also couldn't find out what was at VinWonders. VinPearl Harbour made us scratch our heads - it was like a ghost town with lots of fake shop fronts and no people. We weren't sure if things were closed because of the rain, or because it was off-season or if it was still under construction.
Perfect Service from start to end. Nice Bungalows Breakfast was really good
Pool at the Bungalow was dirtyOld carpet at the Bungalows living room Renovation neededSome lights and AC can be controlled with a tablet someones with switches or panels. Every time confusing. Not really a concept behind. Isolated on the Island
Breakfast was worse than I expected. There were four big chafing dishes all filled with rise. Rise rise again rise… few food choices. My daughter couldn’t find any nice food. She just ate yoghurts and some fried pork. Pho soup was very good.
Too few choices. Maybe I'm comparing it to my previous hotel Vinpearl nha trang Bay’s breakfast.
The resort is small and boutique, but from the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty, and the staff couldn't do enough for us.We were greeted at the entrance and given a nice cold welcome drink before being shown to our luxurious villa. We were blown away with the sheer luxury and overall cleanliness..there was a control panel to operate the curtains and lighting, and we had our own pool in the garden.Every thought had been put into making our holiday stand out as one of the best ever !The beach area, although very near to Vinpearl harbour, was beautifully kept, and we could relax on a sumptuous day bed with curtains around it.The Wave bar served a variety of drinks and mocktails, being situated on a wooden pier with circular seating affording superb views of the harbour where we could watch the evening fireworks. One of the managers, a man called Dung, was particularly helpful with his advice and knowledge of the island, which made our stay even more special. We will definitely be coming back !
This is a real luxury hotel. The pick up from the airport was exceptionally good - very attentive and what you would expect. I think the check in process was a bit daunting - you have to register on the mainland and then get to the resort, we went by cable car and found it a bit hard to follow the instructions. But once we arrived at the luxury resort (there are numerous resorts in the same island) it all came good - very well appointed villa, fantastic private beach, lots of courteous efficient staff, luxury fixtures and fittings, lots of loungers and reasonable prices for food and drink.
I would recommend that people who book the luxury resort are advised to take the speed boats to the island rather than the cable car because the transfer is much easier.
Everything was 5 stars! The property was exceptionally clean, we felt like the place was all to ourselves. Private beach and the staff was amazing!
That it was too private lol nothing that i didn’t like about it my wife and I had a great stay!
Beautiful beach front villa & gorgeous spa
Lots of things closed - shame. Was a quiet time of year though.
Quiet and very green. Personal pool at the villa is always a good addition to any holiday. Firm mattress for a good quality night sleep. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. They even went an extra mile to help us with arrangements even after our check-out time. Breakfast food was tasty and varied, swimming pool - big and well maintained. And a special shout out goes to the nice ocean view from the gym windows.
The interior is quite dated. But what was off putting is an old-looking carpet on the first floor. It would have been a better decision to leave the floors uncarpeted. The pool is also on the first floor. And you don’t want to imagine what grows in between the fibres with the humidity from the pool, dirt from outside when you enter the room, and food remains after room service had been cleared. Although the two-storey villa is a nice place for a couple vacation, it is ill-suited for a family with kids. There are no doors in the bedroom on the second floor. The additional bed could only be placed on the first floor.
Everything was fantastic. The breakfast was plentiful and offered many options. The room was spacious and offered it's own pool.
The resort itself is huge so getting around can be challenging especially in the heat however they have buggy cars that will come and pick you up upon request.
